2. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service. By clicking the "Register" button during registration, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms.

3. Service Description

CADENSA is a cloud-based time tracking and project management platform with the following features:

  • Time tracking
  • Project and task management
  • Team collaboration
  • Reports and analytics
  • Billing support
  • Mobile apps (iOS/Android)

PRO

  • Unlimited users

  • SSO/SAML authentication

  • SLA guarantee

4. User Responsibilities

4.1. Account Security

You are responsible for your account security, including password confidentiality. Please:

  • Use a strong password (min. 8 characters, uppercase, number, special character)
  • Enable two-factor authentication (2FA)
  • Do not share your password with others
  • Notify us immediately of any suspicious activity

4.2. Acceptable Use

You MUST NOT use the Service for:

  • Illegal activities
  • Spam or unsolicited messages
  • Violating others' rights
  • Exploiting security vulnerabilities
  • Impersonating other users

5. Payment Terms

5.1. Pricing and Billing

Current pricing is available on Pricing page.

  • Billing cycle: Monthly or annual subscription
  • Payment methods: Credit/debit card (Stripe)
  • Auto-renewal: Subscription auto-renews unless you cancel
  • VAT: Hungarian VAT (27%) applies to EU consumers

5.2. Refund Policy

Under EU consumer protection law:

  • 14-day right of withdrawal: Full refund within 14 days of first purchase, no questions asked
  • Partial refund: Pro-rata refund for significant service outage (below 99.9% SLA)
  • Annual subscription: No refund after 14 days, but can downgrade to FREE

6. Cancellation and Termination

6.1. User Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription anytime in Settings → Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

6.2. Service Provider Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account in the following cases:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Payment default (after 7-day grace period)
  • Suspected illegal activity
  • Behavior threatening system security

6.3. Data Retention After Cancellation

After cancellation:

  • Downgrade to FREE: immediate effect
  • Data export: 30 days to download in JSON format
  • Complete deletion: User-initiated only (Account Settings > Delete Account)
  • Billing records: removed from Cadensa systems; VAT invoices remain with external providers (e.g. Billingo)

7. Intellectual Property

7.1. CADENSA Platform

All content of the CADENSA platform (code, design, logo, documentation) is the intellectual property of Axeri Labs Bt. All rights reserved.

7.2. User Data

Data you upload (time entries, projects, tasks) remains your property. You have the right to export or delete this data anytime.

7.3. Open-Source Components

CADENSA platform uses open-source software (React, Node.js, MongoDB). Full license list available: docs.cadensa.io

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1. Service Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime, but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We provide 48-hour notice for planned maintenance.

8.2. Data Loss

While we perform daily backups, we are not liable for data loss in case of force majeure (natural disaster, cyber attack). We recommend regular data exports.

8.3. Maximum Liability

Our maximum liability is limited to the total subscription fees paid by you in the last 12 months.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: We are not liable for indirect damages (lost profits, loss of goodwill, business damages due to data loss).

9. Dispute Resolution

9.1. Governing Law

These Terms and your use of the Service are governed by Hungarian law, specifically:

  • Act CVIII of 2001 (electronic commerce)
  • Act V of 2013 (Civil Code)
  • GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679)

9.2. Jurisdiction

In case of dispute, the Pest County Court (court of registered office) has jurisdiction. For consumer disputes, the court of your residence also has jurisdiction.

9.3. Amicable Settlement

Before litigation, please contact us at to attempt amicable settlement.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms. We will notify you 30 days in advance of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.

If you do not accept the changes, you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.
